Obviously you have to run new school bolt pattern, and the bolt length is fixed, but if you don't have problems with those than these are quite the product. I got mine taped up bright orange to match my orangatangs, and it's an absolute head turner. So yeah, if the glove fits, then rock these suckers

Yes it is weak that the X-Bolts are only available in new school bolt patterns, but I had difficulty installing mine on a new school board even. I am not sure if my set was just machined wrong, but I can tell you I would not want to interchange my set-up when using this hardware. Then when applying the hardware after griptape one of the threads of the bolts stripped and now I can't put a nut on the bolt. I have set up a hell of a lot of boards in my 10+ years skating and I finally tried out something other than Shorty's and was major bummed about the X-Bolts, especially since all I role is Abec11/Retro/Pink wheels.

The X-Bolts are only available in "new school" pattern, and only with a bolt length sufficient for standard boards and a 1/4" shock pad (at most). Once you get past those issues, these are great! Truck installation is a breeze, and you can easily do it with one hand. There are no bolts extending up, and it's very, very easy to griptape the top of the X is you choose to. They're durable, and made for Abec 11 by the Rogers Bros. metal shop--quality stuff.
