The Alpha Tool is a well-made unit, constructed of burly tool steel with a thick layer of chrome. It's easy to extend to full length for leverage and the knurled surface is effective for grip. It's heavy, and gnarly enough that it may be too big for some pockets, but it's durable enough to make for a great bench or gear bag tool. The primary limitation is that the open-end design of the sockets make it difficult to spin axle nuts or kingpins, particularly in deep-dish wheels or on trucks where the hanger extends above one side (or an inset) of the kingpin. It's durable enough to last many years.
