Newsflash

Outlaw Racing in the News:  Pasadena City College's newspaper covered the rampage on Dump Road.  It's a pretty good article and worth checking out.

Old Man Army has release a bag aimed at the board lugging crowd. The basic idea of this bag was to make it as durable and compliable with the needs of the pool rat, the park dog, the tech savy slalomizer and everyone else that finds they are slogging around tons of gear in bags that are either too big, too small or impossible to organize. Into the fray of your organizational fiasco rolls the Old Man Army Skate Bag.

The entire bag has solid stitching with all Heavy Duty Nylon strapping wholly secured, everything you could think of is supplied by this bag. The stow pockets and front pocket give you ample room for plenty of gear wheels and accessories. Stow pockets all have Velcro enclosures and Velcro attachment. The outside pocket is large enough to hold keys, phone or tool for easy access. The militant camo bag is emblazoned on both sides with the Old Man Army Logo.  The bag is also available in all black or there are available in an all Black version too, one with the OMA Logo and one with the Decent Hardware Logo just on the pocket end. The bags are made by a family family of brothers who have their own surfboard bag company, just 2 sewing machines and a lot of work ethic!

The Lucky Star PVC impregnated inside of the bag is waterproof and has strapping to hold decks fast. The bottom of the bag has zippered slats with Velcro flaps to allow you to run the trucks through the bottom of the bag and have it trail you like luggage. The inside bag strapping lets you secure the lower deck preventing the bag from dragging on the ground. The topside strapping can be removed on either end so you can use it as a leash or put it inside the bag for airline flights. The bag can also be utilized as a back pack, duffel and shoulder bag.

Board Bag, slide pads

Since the bag has been through the paces it has served well hauling wheels, decks and all the safety gear we could stuff in it. One of the best aspects of the bag is that it side opens, which means when in a car trunk or  on a table you can  look into it to find stuff hidden instead of just looking into it from the top down. It 's strapping is also a huge bonus point as the  bag straps don't cut into the shoulder and the duffel bag straps stay stuck with no problems. Overall the greatest asset this bag has is it's nigh invulnerable to damage.

Although the bag is primarily for decks under 41” we managed to get decks up to 43” in the bag without the gear pockets full. The bag can hold three complete decks and an assorted variety of gear with a little creative packing, it definitely has room for your riding setups helmet, pads, gearbox, gloves and a few moonpies. The bag is selling at $100 from  http://www.oldmanarmy.com/
