April Fools Sk8 jam 2009 Well, just left racer x on the road, hes on his way back 2 Colorado, The sick nes is on his way to surf the canyon,what a weekend. Just want to say thanks to Khiro and SK8 KING for stepping it up for us this year. 3 days of non stop skating. Friday afternoon, Hell fadell and racer x showed up at Toyland with team F agee, Mike K was on fire, Mitch and the boys tore up the TOYLAND park, That night the jam room went off,Hell,mitch,Mike,Brian, Jay, and Miller rocked the music into the night. The next morning ranch style breakfast, and off to the hill, we had 2 vans, one for the heave's, and the other 4 the mellow heads, the hill was fast, with many heavy turns and corners, the weather was perfect.the hill was almost mile long with a run out,we had just 6 guys who wanted to run from the top, we had some great runs through the switch back corners. Racer X 1st, Hell Fadell 2nd, fly n jay 3rd, Brandon headland 4th. That afternoon we went for duel drag racing on a bunny hill for fun. every one had a blast winding down from the long day of racing. We pack it up and of to Toyland. That night the skating went off at the park,lots of local bro s as well as the race crew. We feasted on Barbecue goods, and the Music came alive at Toyland, it was cold that night so the new out door fire pit with a roof real came in handy, keep everyone warm, the next morning, just another great home made ranch breakfast, we all feasted and then we sign up for the race, Miller went over the rules,witch there really wasn't any,this is a real outlaw, every one loaded up in there vans, on off we went. The hill was a secrete, only Miller new were it was, we pulled up the the hill and it was on, Hell and Ritchie helped me set a course, real fast driven type of G.S. course, the field was 14 riders We had some timing problems, but it took no time to fix the prob, it's on. Great wind through out the day, with Hell and Racer X and The Brown Bomber fighting it out,Norski and Heart really impressed me so much how they both charged the course with power and style, Cat, she ripped with such power aswell,( this hill was fast) all the racer raced great, thanks to all you. We had Green van problems, but Eric T. pulled off the big one and helped out, you rock bro. With all the help from every one , unreal. Racer X took 1st, Brown bomber took 2nd , Hell took 3rd, Miller took clean up. This was by far one of the best event that I hosted, the skating was unreal, the hills were perfect, the skaters were great, and I got to skate with so many of my friends. Thanks to all, so STOKED.... keep racing.
