[This just in from Scott at Muir Surf and Sport , you know you wanna go hang out with Adam Colton and eat some pie, Loaded continues supporting the scene with yet another shop demo at this on campus UCSD skate and surf shop]
You are invited to Mayhem at Muir II with Loaded Longboards. Come on out Saturday Oct 20th to UCSD's Muir College (9500 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, CA 92093.) and enjoy the day with us as we skate around like a bunch of wild buffalos. All skill levels welcomed. If you are just a beginner come on out and receive some guidance.
Here is a loose itinerary… 12:00 Event kick off. 1:00 Live Music by Straight Trippin. 2:00 Live Music by Hello Vegas Plus, Q&A with LOADED and UCSD Skate Club in front of shop. Have an opportunity to LEARN some dance moves, share tricks, try out boards, and more. 3:00 Pie-eating contest. Adam Colton who claims to be the best pie eater of the east and west will challenge 4 worthy people in an all out hands behind your back pie-eating contest. Whoever can defeat the monster pie eater Adam C. will receive a free pair of Loaded Slide gloves plus 2 million dollars. Joking about the money part. 3:00 FREE Barbecue and Raffle for Load Complete. What a great way to end the day… relax, reflect, and stuff your face while chit chatting with a bunch of rad people. Muir Surf & Sport is conveniently located at Muir College on UCSD's Campus. We are just a short walk from La Jolla Farms Road and Blacks Beach. If you have trouble finding us, ask a student where to find the store or just give us a call (619) 851-0142. Directions from the North: Take I-5 South. Exit on La Jolla Village Dr, turn right at the traffic light. La Jolla Village Dr will curve to the right, turning into North Torrey Pines Rd. Turn right onto Muir College Dr, then park. Directions from the South: Take I-5 North. Exit on La Jolla Village Dr, turn left at the traffic light. La Jolla Village Dr will curve to the right, turning into North Torrey Pines Rd. Turn right onto Muir College Dr, then park. Parking: On campus parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, you will either need to park in a metered spot or purchase a day-pass. Day passes are available for purchase in the parking lot to your left as you turn.
