Not all skate shirts are black! Check out the Silverfish Gear Page . There are new men's, women's and kids' shirts! (Some are even black.) We're using "spreadshirt", so you order straight from them. Dig through the listings and you'll find some classic 'Fish designs, including shirts with art taken from member Ryan's art-pen drawings. Have an idea for a shirt? Send it in! |

Dear Friends, Family, Clients, fellow Photographers and Skaters,
You are reading this because it is each of you that I have to thank for the incredible experience that my life has become.
For the past five months I have been fundraising for breast cancer in a world record breaking skateboard journey across Canada. We are 150 km, three days and one incredible event away from completing the journey and I want you to know about it!
If this inspires you, please forward it along to your circle of friends. The more awareness we can generate, the closer we are to a future without breast cancer......

The PUSH Team and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would like to extend our sincere thanks for your support toward Push for the Cure. Nearing their Finale in Vancouver, British Columbia, Aaron Jackson, Carlos Koppen and Rob Lewis and myself, Benjamin Jordan, left Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 1st and will finish the journey by skating into Stanley Park on Monday, October 9th.

We have skated over 7800 kilometres of our vast country and have had some incredible experiences. Just a few of the highlights include:
- Halifax, NS – Dipping our boards into the Atlantic Ocean broadcasting our launch through national media including CTV NewsNet and CBC
- Summerside, PEI – Home of rider Aaron Jackson, Push for the Cure had an incredible hometown reception and a front page splash
- Quebec – A warm Quebec reception greeted and welcomed us to central Canada with a French interview with TQS … A great warm-up for their next interview with Musique Plus in Montreal
- Vankleek Hill, ON – The town of Vankleek Hill raised the bar for the event; this town of 1,800 people raised a staggering donation of $10,446
- Ottawa, ON – Leading by example, politicians responding to the challenge included Stephen Harper, Peter McKay and Alexa McDonough
- Toronto, ON – Innondated by love and support from Toronto's Longboard Scene, we had several spectacular events and received several doses of national news coverage with Global and CBC.
- Winnipeg, MB – Home of rider Rob Lewis, locals showed their strength when funds raised by supporters at a Winnipeg Goldeyes game far exceeded the proceeds at their fundraiser with the Toronto Blue Jays
Our efforts have raised tremendous media awareness and over $40,000 for the cause – but it's not over yet! As we skate the last leg of their journey please consider making a final donation to Push for the Cure. Funds can be directed to the Foundation through our secure online donation site: CLICK HERE. Please also consider sharing this email with friends and family who may want to show their support.
Push for the Cure has been an incredible endeavour ... Not only because of the distance and the physical effort involved, but also because these we four young men have put their lives on hold for six months - leaving our homes, friends, family, paychecks, careers and general lifestyle behind - trading everything for the road, our boards, a motorhome and the cause. We want to make a difference. We want a future without breast cancer. Please help to make this dream a reality!
