We're using "spreadshirt", so you order straight from them.  Dig through the listings and you'll find some classic 'Fish designs, including shirts with art taken from member Ryan's art-pen drawings.  Have an idea for a shirt?  Send it in!

Silverfish member "Sal Pic" is one of a crew of collegiate longboarders skating every sloped surface they can find in South Florida. As you'll see from the report that follows, Sal and the crew suffer no shortage of stoke! Read on to find out about the first South Florida Silverfish Session.

"As many Silverfishers know, when it comes to finding the best hills, one does not drive to South Florida. On the

On Saturday, May 13th, longboarders converged upon Vista View Park. The first pavilion housed a birthday party, so we had to make do with the rear of the park. Donny, aka "DonnyUGA", Matt, aka "GA. DAWG", Cameron, aka "drummerstix" and Drew, aka "Drew" were already carving around the parking lot when I arrived. Soon after, Steve, aka "McPhenius", his son, "LB", and "Jungle Jim" from Concrete Wave arrived. Jim brought a bag filled with stacks of the most recent CW issues and buyers guides for us to look through.

The first hill was a moderately steep drop with a very tight left turn leading to a long mellow section of road. After sweeping off the turn, we took our first runs. We controlled our speed with carves and got low or dropped the gloves to make the turn. Steve took a lot of great pictures, at the bottom and half way up, including this one of me, and many of the other ones.

LB bombed the hill on his Landyachtz Urban Assault, using his 90mm Flywheels to run into the grass to slow him down. Check out the debris and rocks!

Steve, aka "the Green Monkey", soon arrived with his Subsonic. He was our first bail of the day, earning some lovely road rash on his knee and elbow.

Drew took a spill on his DH Race, luckily only tearing his khakis. He went back to his Landy Wedgeflex soon after.

Soon, we began trading boards. This was the first time many have us have ridden certain setups. I traded my Insect Dragonfly for Matt
