[We had the luck to be able to meet this dynamic brotherhood comprising a duo of non stop skaters, riding for FlexDex they shred and have mad plans to follow the path of a few greats and skate the width of the US. They sent us this interview of them discussing their plans and what they hope to do. Check out BruthaDude!]
Our names are Stephan Reinhardt and Scott Raynor. It has been a long time dream of ours to skateboard across America. Inspired by such riders as Jack Smith and Adam Colton it has been our dream to follow in their paths and journey across the United States. After much preparation and help from such companies as Flexdex Skateboards and Silverfish Longboarding, this May we will finally be able to fulfill our goal. Our trip will begin in San Diego, California and following a southernly route end in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
We decided to shoot a video covering what we were expecting and what we have done to prepare. We set up the camera and with my father shooting with a professional mount he also was able to question us. In the interview you will find out our greatest fears and deepest desires uncovering lurid details of our pasts and the ghosts that haunt us, chasing us into trekking across America hauling our mental luggage. Seriously though we will answer what we hope this will bring us in the future, how we have prepared for this and you will view a clinical example of psychogenic polydipsia. In the future we will be doing a great deal of work with our primary sponsor Flexdex, both to prepare us for our journey but also to help spread the Flexdex stoke. We will be setting up a session on April 19th with Muir Skates as well as organizing a contest to help design the next level of art decks that Flexdex will be producing. After a recent tour of Southern California we are excited to lay the groundwork that will soon lead us to our long expected Skate Across America. Hope you enjoy the video.
