"Longboarding is more than just a type of riding

it's any thing you are willing to push yourself to do on your board,

and isn't just

a sport but a connection

between board, body, and mind."

"I'm 16 and a Junior at Whitney High. I'm pretty laid back and longboarding is pretty much life for me; I love what i do and who I do it with.  I deeply enjoy riding for and with Team Tactis but also I love riding with my friends in Rocklin. I enjoy all types of longboarding including of Speedboarding, freeride carving, dancing, sliding, and one that I just started but I enjoy doing alot and love: racing slalom. Not to mention, I can't be that bad at it, after all: I'm only the Morrow Bay US Slalom Junior Class Nationals Champion! Also I have an amazing girlfriend.  Her name is Austin. Im a pretty chill guy who loves to just have fun virtually anyway possible."

"This is info from Pete's My space.  All I can manage to say right now is that Pete is a wonderful young man and surprised us all with his humor, spirit, commitment to the sport and loyalties to the people he loves .  His dream has always been to compete at the level of his idols and to advance the sport in any way he could.  He will be in our hearts forever and will be missed by so many people and the lives he touched.

Pete took extreme pride in his equipment and gear... he always did things right and safe... and man did he rip it up when the game was on! We can only assume that God needed him more than we did... and no matter what life throws at us we can only hope that we can live it like Pete did...

Completely Stoked!"

-Dano

"He was one of my best friends on the planet even though I am one old MF. I know my family and I would love to post a message to all of you, especially Big Daddy about how much you all and this sport meant to him. He told his Nonnie a month or so ago," Nonnie  I really love this and  I am really good at this. " I and his Nonnie ( grandmother), and the rest of us that loved this boy beyond belief, know he skated right on in with a big smile. Thanks for all your considerate thoughts towards my sister( his Mom and real best friend) Janet. Aloha for now"

"I met Peter (and Nick) at this summer's US Nationals slalom race in Morro Bay. They were both super-stoked on skating and seemed like really cool, down-to-earth young guys--no tough-guy attitude, just a couple of normal, friendly kids.

I think they also both went to the next weekend's event in Hood River, Oregon. Both were relatively new to slalom, and I remember the curiosity and excitement in their voices as I overheard them talking about how to adjust to what were pretty difficult courses to ride. I heard nothing but stoke and encouragement, along with the sort of playful trash-talking that only true friends can get away with. Their enthusiasm was really refreshing."

"I first met Peter at the Oregon State Games where I had the pleasure racing head-to-head with him twice through the slalomcross. Then I saw him again at the Hood River race.

I was very impressed with his friendliness, his maturity, and his future potential."
