Deja vu', all over again, again?  What is going on here?   Ha!  Have fun with it!

 Remember This?

That's the header off of www.silverfish.cc in 2001.   That's where this all started, and you can go back to check parts of it out, if you want to.  This is thanks to our good, personal friends at Google.com and the Wayback Machine.   In 2001, there were less than 1,000 members of the 'Fish ( we didnt' even call it that yet) and you'd be rubbing internet shoulders with Ben Schroeder, Dino from Mauline, our founder Marcus Vorwaller and others on any given day.   Momona Boe was a tender young lad, Malakai Kingston and EBasil had screen names like "Turbo 200" or "Greasepencil" ,and Randal Trucks were the hot, new ticket for longoboarders discovering the sport and each other...

Things have changed a bit since then, eh?   Now, we're over 22,000 skaters online, with over a million posts in the forum database (sadly, Google couldn't archive our old EZBoard forum) and almost 20,000 product reviews. Click through to see more trivia from the past...

There's the Review section in 2001.  All of it.  Just like now, it was a product of the efforts by skaters to tell other skaters what works, and what doesn't.

All this old stuff comes to us due to Google's 10th anniversary.  They've put up a search engine page that only uses the database they had in 2001.  Now, that's not 10 years ago, but it's still fun.  Click HERE to hit that, and do a few searches.  (Try "longboarding" and see what you get.)   The results for searches are what you'd have found in January, 2001.   Now, to see the old webpages, you gotta use The WayBack Machine , and type in the old UR.  That's how we got the old images you're seeing here, and you can click that link to jump right over.  Check out your favorite skate sites, or anything.  Not a bad way to waste time if you're not willing to shut off your computer and...  Go Skate!

Check out more, in the forums.
