My Name is Luis Lins, 31 years old, from Brazil, now i live in Switzerland, Zurich.

I study design, do website, animation, graphic design for skateboards and lamination of skateboards. I work and Ride for Fibretec a Skateboard Manufacturer in Zürich.

In my free time I write articles and I’m the official editor from Boardmag, (Germany skate, Surf and Snowboard Shop), I write articles from my Trips, Races and Free ride Happenings.

I’m also the Official Race Reporter from IGSA (international gravity sports association), write articles for IGSA about the races around the World, every Year we have Races in Brazil, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, France, UK, South Africa, Canada and E.U.A.

I start long boarding (downhill stand-up) in 1999, between 2000 and 2002 I participated in a few Downhill Races in Brazil.

In 2002 I participated in Brazil my first National Cup in Barra Mansa, I did the third place.

In 2003 I was in Canada for my first IGSA North American National (Canadian Top Challenge) in Montréal, this contest happened in the rain, I did the 8 place, really good for my first world cup. In 2003 I placed 123 in the world ranking at that time. 

In 2004 I was in Europe for the IGSA World Cups, World Cup Switzerland (Altbüron), I did the 38 place, Germany world cup (Almabtrieb), 33 place and I was in France Chamrousse Free Ride (the biggest meeting of the world of gravity sports 400 riders), in 2004 I placed 61 in the world ranking.

In 2005 I was in Europe again, after lots practicing I did much better, IGSA Continental Championship (Altbüron, Switzerland) 9th, IGSA World Cup (Almabtrieb, Germany), I did 16 place, IGSA World Cup Sweden (Åre), I did the 12 place, IGSA European National (Helden Rennen, Germany), I came 12th, IGSA African National Houteq, made the 3th place and IGSA World Cup Hot Heels South Africa (Kogelberg, Cape Town), I did 2nd place, I finished 2005  4th. In the world ranking and the list had 199 riders.

Since beginning 2006 I live in Europe, until now I’m third place in the World Ranking IGSA, IGSA Continental Championship (Kurvenrausch, Germany), I came 15th, IGSA World Cup (Åre Mountain Games, Sweden), I did the 4 place, IGSA World Cup (COASH "Chill On A Swiss Hill", Switzerland), I did 35 place,( Crash ) IGSA European National (Helden Rennen, Germany), I finished on the 13 place, IGSA European National (Col d’Izoard, France, now I would like to Compete for 4 races this year:

1. France National Cup IGSA (September 16-17);
2. National Cup IGSA UK (October 22);
3. National Cup IGSA South Africa (December 02-03);
4. World Cup IGSA South Africa (December 8-10).

World Ranking 2006, and the List has 296 Riders. This is a constant growing Extreme Sport, and every Year more Organisations start bigger Events.

I Travel 4 years now for races, free ride and special meet’s. In 4 years I improved my skate technique, my experience, I tested a lot of equipment, I build my icons, I know a lot of peoples from the gravity sports, today I have good reference for the gravity sports, a lot of people read my articles, a lot of people make contact with me to know what kind of equipment I use, and come to me for all kinds of questions.

My goal is, to compete in all the Races around the World and Promote the Sport and my

Sponsors. Basically find a Flight sponsor and place the Label into the World of Extreme Sports.
