Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

San Dimas, California. After a morning that had racers qualifying in the rain, the Cal DH Series skies cleared and provided a sun-dried course for the fourth race in the series. With most spectators and many racers scared off by the rain, it was a smaller field on the course, but real racing excitement wasn't lacking. If you were there for NASCAR-Style crash-n-burn, it was there. If you were there to see various race companies' R&D efforts tested on the track, you got an eyeful. If you were there to test your skills against some of the fastest racers in the nation, under "European Conditions"...you got all the "Raging Waters Course" could offer.

Our IGSA Race Report is coming later this week, on Wednesday. More information on the next page...

Our "Gallery"(click here) is up and running, with over 500 shots on display. We'll have more photos, taken by the GravityBikes.com crew, later this week. In the meantime, here are some friendly faces and a few shots to whet your appetite before you check out several hundred race photos...

Silverfish Longboarding.com supports all forms of skateboard racing. If you're pictured in any of our racing galleries and would like a hi-res copy of the photo for non-commercial use, we're happy to give it to you, free. (Commercial use is fine, too, but there are fees designed to put 25" rims on our Escalades.)
