The primary focus through the whole development phase for these pads was all sliding, the R&D consisted of sliding, riding and shredding pads. What resulted was the most durable, reliable and slide capable pad on the market. With local riders testing the Sliders through the entire design phase there is not one aspect of the pads that was not designed just with sliding in mind.

The Caps will last a long time and provide not just a durability that complements sliding but will also outlast any other slide pad. In just the short lifespan of some kneepads you would have hardly even scratched the surface of the knee pucks. The debut of these pads was Slidefest ’07 and that set left the day of hard sliding with little more than scratches on the caps and wings. Replacements are available meaning you will never need to resort to an off shaped puck, or inferior materials.

The bags were designed with durability in mind with the strapping all recessed behind the wing caps preventing any of the strapping from coming into contact with knee down slides. The pad foam was designed to allow the rider the greatest amount of compression while still providing for shock impact. The lower area of the pads that will come in contact is made with a combination of cordura and webblon guaranteeing a long lasting bag.

The pads are opened back meaning the shoes stay on and all of the strapping material is chosen for its durability and resilience to abrasion. As the most common slide pad failure results from the stripping of straps these pads have been designed to prevent strapping from ever coming in contact with speeding streets during any slide. The straps are extremely resilient to over stretching so your pads will not fail and slide off resulting in rider injury.
