Bombsquad Longboarding, located in Arlington, Texas, has developed a new product for longboarders that is designed to protect a board from crash damage and potentially ruining a board. The original idea for a “noseguard” came, as you can imagine, from a crash that wiped out a favorite board. The initial idea was to come up with a way to protect the nose of a board from impact crash damage. After a few ideas were put together in the shop, a prototype noseguard was fabricated and we began using it on our longboards and it really worked on some very hard hits.
As our longboarding friends saw our noseguard, we were immediately asked to make them for their boards. After using the noseguards successfully for a while, we began to look at the possibility of selling them on a much broader scale. We developed specific designs to fit certain boards, staying with the concept of utilizing the truck mounting to also mount the noseguard to the board. Bombsquad Longboarding noseguards are now in use all over the world. This initial distribution has occurred as a result of forums and message boards only. We just recently launched Bombsquadlongboarding.com where you can check out and purchase all of our longboarding products including our new wall mounted board rack. 12 guage steel 24"tall 16"wide 9"deep 13.3lbs non boxed all racks will be powder coated rubber edging at the bottom of all inserts hardware is included |
