Announcing a new contest from Concrete Wave magazine...
Anyone can enter and it's easy to enter...
1. you and your skate buds roam around your town/city visiting the best
skatespots (for ANY type of skating) - minimum 5 spots - maximum 10
2. at each spot describe what's happening and why the spot is so amazing.
(no more than 50 words per spot)
3. then you provide a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 tourist traps/crazy
places/weird hangouts/insanely cool things in your town (no more than 50
words per place/thing)
BONUS POINTS WILL BE GIVEN for every local and international celebrity
holding a copy of CW magazine/banner (ie get the mayor to hold a copy!)
What you win...
1. a double page article on your city in cw
2. 5 CW tee shirts
3. 5 subscriptions to the mag (or an extension for those who currently
subscribe)
4. 5 best of the west guides
5. a complete board (deck,wheels,trucks,grip,bearings) of your choice -
items to be chosen from the Buyer's Guide 2005.
Contest closes Dec. 1, 2005. The winning entry will be announced Dec 15 and
the article will run in the Jan 2006 issue.
