The NEW Surf-Rodz 60" Carbon-Gun Longboards offer a high strength-to-weight ratio structure with impact resistance and excellent flexibility. With new aerospace composites and snowboard construction techniques, the NEW 60" longboard deck weighs in at just 3 pounds making this a very lively longboard skate deck. As final engineering is completed, SZ has already started its research and development in building two other composite-type longboard cores for 2008.

All SZ longboards are handcrafted and feature custom 113mm x 64mm Road Slicks, which are rubber on aluminum hubs and come equipped with 250mm Original Skateboard trucks. Surf-Rodz will also offer Seismic’s Speed Vent wheels with all completes.

This summer, Surf-Rodz plans to undertake limited manufacturing on three environmentally friendly longboard skate decks in 100 percent solid laminated bamboo, coconut palm, and one 60" all Composite longboard.  Custom-made boards in mixed hardwood/bamboo combinations will also be crafted to order. The company's goal for summer 2007 is to offer custom-built longboards and snowboard deck systems.

Currently, Surf-Rodz sells its entire product line, factory direct. There are no distributors, shops or middlemen involved. This emphasis allows the user to pick the product that's most suitable for them and their sport.

Surf-Rodz' has come up with exciting new products for the next season and they're something worth the anticipation. The manufacturer's current product line-up includes two directional snowboard models geared towards all-mountain performance, blending alpine carving with a soft-boot set-up. SZ also brings composite technology development on a new all-mountain and a dedicated powder snow deck for 2008 season.

As final design and engineering are under way on Surf-Rodz' long-awaited "ASB" road-carve system Surf-Rodz has been busy working on a new, full-composite core 60" longboard skate deck and laminated bamboo longboards.

Wayne Gallipoli founded Surf-Rodz (SZ) in 2005 to explore new concepts in board design for snow, road and water sports. His goal was to create complete and unified systems that mimicked the aggressive, high-energy way he rode a snowboard. When he began implementing his initial designs for a road carving system, it became apparent that he could expand his research and development into custom-built directional snowboards and longboard skate decks.
