You know how it gets, those long nights in the warehouse after all the skating's done, the various hangers-on have departed and the only people left at the skateboard factory and you and the guards hired to protect against fire-bomb wielding thugs from some big, corporate monolith you've managed to piss off?   Heck, you can't even talk to the guards without riling up their rottweilers, so it's just you and the internet.   There are two things to do:  hit the infamous Silverfish chat rooms or make one of your own...

GFH Boards Launches New Website

The crew at GFH have made their own.  Here's their press release regarding the all-new GFH website and dating service.  Oh, sure, they'll deny it but tell them you heard all about it on Concrete Disciples!

GFH has made it a main priority to bring customer service to the forefront of their new site. GFH has taken advantage of a feature that allows site patrons to click on a link to chat live and directly with a GFH employee. This feature enables the GFH crew to answer questions as customers are going through the site. Maybe you want to know what the differences are between the Pigme and the Pug. You can either check the FAQ’s or click on the live chat feature.

The new and improved site has many desired features that customers have been asking for. Finally, you can purchase just a deck or upgrade to a set of GFH Fatties, choose any truck combination or wheel color on a board, or even choose to have checkered wheels.

The current revisions to the site allow you to find your local shop with Google Maps.  In the upcoming months, the site will have a few added bonuses that will allow international shoppers to see where GFH products are sold locally. So now a customer in NZ will be able to see how close their local shop is thanks to Google maps.

Rolling out with this site will be the new Bali and Unknown Composite Series boards. These boards are a more environmentally and production friendly alternative to fiberglass. The GFH Green Weave not only provides a dynamic look to the board, but provides amazing rebound and flex. It is important to think about what you are currently skating on. Fiberglass has many negative health risks that affect the individuals that make these boards. Fibers, when inhaled, can enter into the lungs and cause damage. There are risks of Dermatitis – a poison ivy like affect upon contact causing open and oozing sores and intense pain. Sensitization - another health risk of fiberglass can remain dormant for years and can occur when someone comes back into contact with fiberglass causing respiratory problems and outbreaks spreading over their entire bodies.   Check out our Green Project located on the GFH Recycle tag for more information.

Log on and check out the new look, new product and start up a chat so GFH can direct you to the board you are looking for! Go to the Gallery and drag and drop our Banners and Logos onto your desktop for your own GFH customization.  Check out past ads, the GFH Athletes and News and Events to see where we are around town. Hang out online with GFH for a while and see what we are all about.  (We have staff in the offices during the week so we will most likely miss your live chat request if it’s the weekend)
