"The latest addition to the growing Lush wheel lineup is the 70mm AVALANCHE. We called it a "freeride wheel" because it's a quick way of saying it slides, carves, goes fast and rolls well. It's best suited to a hard carving, slidey style."

A large thermoset plastic core. Same principle as the "Cannonball" slide wheels - it keeps the wheel firm, light, and round under side loads and helps to prevent flatspots. It also helps to stop the bearings that you forgot to lube last night melting your wheels a couple of miles into a run!

Harder 80a duro makes for a slidey ride once they've worn in.

Radiussed edge makes for a progessive, controllable slide - perfect for hard, snowboard style carving and drifting.

Wide contact patch. Provides grip where you need it and helps the wheel wear slower. It does mean that you have to slide them a few times to wear the sheen off and get them performing at their best - but we figured it was a small sacrifice to make.

Thick lip keeps the edge of the wheel firmer and helps to stop chunking .

We've designed these wheels to provide exactly the ride we were looking for - fast, hard-wearing, slidey but with a good amount of control and grip where you need it most. Now it's up to you to decide whether you want that ride as well.

Available at all Lush stockists and online at www.lushlongboards.com."
