Lush Kisiwa 2007 The classic Lush Kisiwa Longboard is back! This board has been a part of the Lush lineup since day one, evolving from flat peice of baltic birch to the current shape as riding techniques and ideas evolved. There's loads of big boards out there at the moment, but there's little that has had quite as much thought and riding hours put into the shape as this.
The current incarnation of the Kisiwa is a little shorter than its predecessors at 55"x11.5", making it a little lighter and easier to throw around. The concept is still the same - a big, fat mal shape with a monster wheelbase, lots of concave and a big kicktail. The deck is shaped from maple rather than the birch of older versions, creating a deep flex similar to the Mako for a super-surfy feel. Lush have added even more concave and steepened up the kicktail from a custom mould to create a deep pocket over the back truck, giving unmatched foot placement and grip. This deck is a bit of a tanker, but give it some space and it becomes a suprisingly versatile ride, good for boardwalking and surf-style skating, cruising, sliding, carving, or even charging down massive mountains! A proper "big gun" longboard.
