Newsflash

Not all skate shirts are black!   Check out the Silverfish Gear Page .  There are new men's, women's and kids' shirts!  (Some are even black.)

We're using "spreadshirt", so you order straight from them.  Dig through the listings and you'll find some classic 'Fish designs, including shirts with art taken from member Ryan's art-pen drawings.  Check back for new designs, as we prepare to release the Fall Line (soon as Armani signs off...)

Here at Silverfish, the Pressure Drop RD-42 is a favorite deck among the skaters at our garage and speedboarding sessions, among the Longboard Consortium testers that have made the RD-42 a mule for nearly every new product we look at, and with the skaters that take advantage of our loaner board program for races.  Recently, owner Shaun O'Brian was stoked to find out how many times his stable, concaved raceboard was hitting podiums, then bemused to find photos of a racer on his board in another company's ad in Concrete Wave.  Hey, it happens...

Pressure Drop on the Rise!

Pressure Drop Longboards RD - 42 model speedboard made a big splash at this year’s Indian School Outlaw Ditch Race & Ditch Slap, held in ABQ, N.M. In its first major showing, the RD - 42 was ridden to three top ten finishes, including two podium placements. Timeship Racing / PPS rider Will Brunson took first place on his RD-42 and PDL rider Chris Miller took ninth on his!

In the Bear Slalom Cross, Joe Lehm ( Timeship Racing owner and legendary race promoter ) took third place on his RD-42, and we’re stoked to see how successful racers have been on our high-performance race deck!  In other PDL race news, Kirby Cox (in his first DH race ever  rode to a respectable finish at the IGSA CAL DH Series in Bonelli Park, CA. We would like to thank all of these riders, without whose talent, there would be no PDL race news !

Construction: The RD - 42 is made with 12 mm Birch plywood with a gloss black Formica bottom. Why Birch ? Birch has a lower specific density than Maple, yet still has many of the same structural properties. It is also softer than Maple, which gives it better dampening qualities. What does this mean? A lighter and more responsive deck with a smooth ride, while not compromising strength.    Specs: length: 42 "  width: 9.75 "  wb: 32 "  nose: 2.875 "  tail: 3.125 "  concave: .625 " at its deepest  shape: classic round nose / sqare tail. Made in the USA.
