Bend, OR -- March 8, 2006 -- SunRiser introduced System Hardware, high performance hardware for high performance boards.
Both the screws and the nylon locking nuts are made from 18-8 stainless steel, making them much stronger, and resistant to corrosion and stripping.
Counter sinking screws can cause stress around the screw holes, so the System Hardware uses a button head with a 1/8" hex socket.
To provide even more fastening power, System Hardware uses a urethane seat washer mounted between the screw head and the deck. The seat washer delivers a more positive connection, especially when using grip-tape.
