Tierney continues to make an impact on the snowboarding world. With the smooth lashes of carve the T-Board lays out with it's torsion truck system many people are finding it not only a lot of fun to ride but a great crosstrainer and skill enhancement for winter sports. With the ability to use the whole body to turn and lay down the tightest of turns at wobble proof speed there is a great deal of interest in this deck. Tierney is winning supporters in the Olympic level with Ryan McDonald , Snowboarding crews such as Team Louish and even Ben Boyd of the USSA. Read on to get more of an idea of the impact that Tierney is making.

Ryan McDonald (US Olympic Snowboard Team) recently shared his thoughts on the T-board:

"I have been training on my T-board all summer. I think it will give me a competitive advantage over the other boarders this winter. I work on my riding technique with the tboard and really like how the T-board performs. There is no other streetboard that comes this close to snowboarding. Hey, if you havn't tried a T-board and you snowboard, you're missing out."

New York Radio Station interviews Chris Davenport (Pro Skier) about the T-Board. Aaron Kershaw, the host of the "On the Inside" talk show on WVOX 1460 AM NY, recently interviewed Chris Davenport (professional skier) about the T-board.

We recently sent one of the T-boards to Ben Boyd, the Rocky Mountain representative for the USSA (Unites States Snowboard Association), to get his feedback on it. His thoughts confirmed our own:

"I think this is a great cross training tool for novice up to high level snowboard athletes. The T Board feels like a snowboard, and has all the same characteristics, being easier to turn at high speeds (and being very stable) to being harder to turn at slow speeds. For this reason, it will really help our athletes with egding drills, for both our boarder crossers and half pipers. It will help with all the skills needed for snowboarding: stance, pressure, edging and rotary control. " "Not only that, they are fun as hell to ride." Shortly following his review, Ben requested that Tierney Rides send him an adequate amount of boards so that his team could train more effectively throughout the summer months.

Clint Decker, the founder of Team Louish, shares his thoughts on the T-board:

"Summer has its fun, but snowboarding has always been the favorite amoung most of our team riders. We longboard a lot during the summer, played around with other hybrids and mountain boards, but nothing had yet replicated the feel of carving hard in fresh power while snowboarding. The tierney rides board (T-board) was introduced to our team a few months ago, and we haven't put it down since. Being able to go down massive hills with no high speed wobble, and the ability to carve hard and actually use your body while carving is the ultimate summer snowboarding experience. The natural feeling of carving on the tierney ride can't compare to any other board on the market. With the 41" deck and rubber wheels, we're able to bomb hills at speeds of 25 mph and still be able to carve with full control. Any other longboard or carving board on the market doesn't even come close to comparison to the T-board. We use it 10 times as long and hard as the [other snowboard hybrids]. The T-board has been able to provide our team with exteme snowboarding during the summer heat! Our team used to longboard / [name of other hybrid trainer] about 5 - 10 hours a week before we got our hands on the Tboard. Since then, we're boarding over 20 hours a week with the Tierney instead. We no longer bring our other boards, as they no longer get used, and just get in the way."
