Tom: I have tried these on other people's boards, so I don't know about durability, but they're f'ing fast.

The abec of a bearing is the amount of eccentricity the actuall ball bearings have for instance an abec 3 ball bearing will have an eccentricity of about 0.00075mm or something like that and a abec 7 bearing will have an eccentricty of about 0.000015mm anything above abec 5 (maybe 7) is only NEEDED in high speed industrial machinery. its a con that bearing companies pull you into. What you are looking for in a bearing after you figure out it's abec 5 is the quality and precision of the bearing races and how flush they fit with the bearings and the core race. Dont think abec 9's will make you go faster than abec 7's cause cause you need to be doing 150 mph plus to notice the difference.

Ive had these things since christmas and Ive had absolutley no problems, and there actually really fast. I think as long as youre not hanging onto cars doing 50+ or getting 7ft of air at a skatepark, they work great, especially for surf style. And theyre cheap...
