Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

what a sketchy board...but can work miracles, Friday, 02 February 2007

this is my 199th longboard, and by far, this is the one that has affected my life greatly. On one warm summer evening, I was carrying my board across the crosswalk, because everyone knows it dangerous to ride across a street. All of a sudden, a ninja jumped out and stole it from me. Being the world class freestyle runner that i am, he was taken down in one swift move. Before his death, he muttered a ancient ninja prayer into my left ear, then i stuck a screwdriver in his eye and told him he was screwed.... hehehe. Well a week later my skateboard changed colors!! and it can push its self around! I investigated the ancient hymn the ninja said, and his spirit is now deeply intertwined between the wood fibers of this longboard. Now i am part of an ancient cult, sect number 3, buddah to the fourth. DONT BUY THIS BOARD!! I feel like im in Jumanji all over again!!

Good, but not THAT good..., Friday, 02 February 2007

This was my first longboard. It is great for downhill, cos it is stiff and can be lowered with a few hits of the drill. Not good for carving. I freaked everytime cos I thought wheelbite would happen, and it did.

Simon A: Modification: Drill holes in front kick and mount trucks there, makes the ride so much smoother, and more longboard like.
