this was my first real longboard and i didn't really like it until i got a performance deck. tight carvers for me made me appreciate the tanker, mellow reliable and fun fun fun. i think it runs better with real loose trucks, randalls for me. some people have said there is no wheel bite but you will get some with loose trucks and abec 83 flys for sure so take care as this thing flys!

Here is a blurb about the supertanker I'm stealing from my own website's forum... Newest board - a 56" Dregs Supertanker, 183mm Invader trucks, and 70mm white Krypto Classic-K wheels. Dregs sent me the whole thing to review, so the review is coming up soon, as well as some giant-board trick tips. Since, like I said, I don't have tons of time to skate, this board is perfect to take out in my street and ride. My street is smooth asphalt, gradual hill, very little traffic. The Supertanker floats and flows over my street with speed and agility, made all the more amazing by the fact that it is bloody huge. It is a momentum machine, and with wedge risers, it turns really well. The wheel cut-outs allow you to really crank down on the turns with no wheel bite. Since getting this thing, I'm becoming much better at my surf-style moves, like cross-step walking, 360 spinners, etc. The board is wide enough (9.5") to make it stable and easy to move around on. It has no kicktail. The tail is about 7" long, but flat. You can use it to kickturn, but if you are kickturning on this beast, you are missing the point. Keep all 4 wheels down and feel the amazing flow under your feet. Bend you knees and get down low on the turns -- the wide trucks and wheels will stick to the ground, and you'll feel like the Silver Surfer. It's so rad.

N8: I love my Supertanker. The Independent 215's this thing comes standard with rule! My friends have clocked me at over 35 mph with no wobbles what-so-ever. The deck has some flex to it and is put together very well. If you're in to bombing hills at high speeds this is the board for you. Need an adrenaline rush...well, you've found it. pbplayer: This board is tight. Living next to the hilliest golfcourse i;ve ever seen, a nice big cruiser was the best choice for me. It gets easier to control the faster you go. Bombing huge hills it is easy to carve nice and deep. The more you Carve on this board the slower you go, and if you go straight you go faaast. I recomend this for someone living close to a lot of big hills.
