Not all skate shirts are black!   Check out the Silverfish Gear Page .  There are new men's, women's and kids' shirts!  (Some are even black.)

We're using "spreadshirt", so you order straight from them.  Dig through the listings and you'll find some classic 'Fish designs, including shirts with art taken from member Ryan's art-pen drawings.  Check back for new designs, as we prepare to release the Fall Line (soon as Armani signs off...)

Pro41 - this is the flexdex® flagship - a 41" longboard skateboard, ABEC5 FKD 8-ball racing bearings, new 65mm Kryptonics wheels. Rated the #2 longboard in the world by Grand Royal mag. (Our Kelly Slater 40 was #1 -it's the same board - LOL). Some of the past models based on this setup are at the left. A lot of people ask us why we don't make a longer flexdex®. We have. Size does matter. Skate Me! Somewhere around 41" the ride is so sweet that it just screams "Skate Me!". The thin-ness of the PRO 41 at 3/8" (9mm) offers the perfect flex pattern. With 10 years of happy riders around the world, the "41" stands tall. How you stand on a Flexdex®, where you place your back foot, nearer the tail or not, affects the flex, and the traction control features of a flexdex® skateboard. The "41" handles hills and flat beautifully. Skilled flexers know just how to weight and unweight the nose or tail as they enter and exit each turn. The response you get from a Flexdex® cannot be duplicated in a wood board. The Randal-2 180 trucks are standard issue and simply carve better than any other truck on the planet and help make the ride sweet as well as absorb the vibrations of the road. Maybe that's why people who ride flexdex®, ride a little longer. The Kryptonic wheels are poured with a 78a durometer x 65mm diameter. This is soft enuf to provide grip - and still release for slides when you flip the switch for that. We've put 70mm's on the "41" and found the board accelerates a little too fast. Or are we chicken? Hmmm. History Footnotes: We have tried to break the deck with a lot of different types of heavy objects. Some of the more interesting ones have been a cement truck, elephant, sumo wrestler, and even a helicopter.

Great carving board, Friday, 02 February 2007

I've had mine for a few months now. A sweet ride carving down hills. Comfortable for cruising too, but is pretty heavy if you need to carry it around. I put some clear griptape down the blank strip in the center 'cause my feet kept slipping around. It's so springy I can hop up and down on it and it acts like a little trampoline with wheels. Sorta industrial looking, maybe that's a plus, I haven't made up my mind yet. But it's fun to ride.
