Quantcast

Newsflash

The Bennett "lockerboard" was scootin' around the Crossroads show recently and Mr. Bennett called to say they're out on the market now in a limited run of hand-screened, numbered completes.  We're stoked to see the little, rockered deck out there!

They've got the hook-hole in the nose, wheelwells that match perfectly when you crank'em over to turn the way Bennetts do and 'gators on the 4.3's.   They're at TailTap.com.

swooper: This seems like a good, basic all-around wheel, not the greatest for any particular use, but a good place to start. The 78A urethane provides lots of traction for learners and carvers. They can be pushed into controlled slides. I like pushing the tail out in little slides while standing. Mine are worn down to about 57mm after about 200 miles of downhill carving. Still round and true, but pretty tapered. I've had them up to 35-40 mph OK, but usually keep it in the 15-25 mph range, making lots of turns. In short, a good wheel for learning to ride hills, or for mellow soul carving.
