Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: bought this board last summer when i decided my landyachtz chief wouldnt cut it anymoreWhat is your setup like?: Randal 180mm 50, Retro Zigzags, Bones Reds.Typical Session Discipline: Hard Carving, pumping, getting into DHHow much did you pay?: 100 for the deckWhere did you purchase it?: skate shopWhat were the strengths of the deck.: Super stable at speeds, brought this up to 35 mph with some gumballs and had a whole bunch of fun. This board is sickWhat were the weaknesses?: I'm starting to get a crack running from the tail of the board, which the shop said is just cus of the drier mountain air we got in colorado.. apparently arbor will replace it if the crack makes its way to the nose or spreads beyond the top plySimilar decks you have ridden?: idunnoWould you recommend it?:
Yes

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: about a monthWhat is your setup like?: paris 150mm stock bushing
rush abec 5
arbor stock wheels 65mm 78aTypical Session Discipline: cruising, carvingHow much did you pay?: complete $155Where did you purchase it?: inertia boardsWhat were the strengths of the deck.: It is very stable. It looks beautiful, and the construction is perfect. I've run this thing into curbs, flipped it over, etc and the only marks are around the edges of the board. A few minor dents and scratches. The graphic is still intact on the board and the grip still feels fresh. What were the weaknesses?: It is very stiff. I weigh around 148-150 and it barely flexes. however my dad is around 200-210 and he stood on it and it flexed a lot, i was afraid he would break it. I like the harder flex but I know most people don't.Similar decks you have ridden?: noneWould you recommend it?:
Yes

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 1 monthWhat is your setup like?: randal II 150's
70mm 78a dano's (daddiesboardshop)
DBS bearings (good value bearings, spin forever)
no riser or shock padsTypical Session Discipline: cruising, carving,How much did you pay?: 160 shippedWhere did you purchase it?: daddiesboardshopWhat were the strengths of the deck.: Some of its strenghts can be weaknesses
Koa is beautiful, see weaknesses
really stiff deck, very stable for beginners
Respectably stable at speed
the tail is easier to stand on than pointier pintailsWhat were the weaknesses?: Koa is beautiful, i really hate to ride this thing and scuff up the koa, so i only use it for cruising, no tricking.
zero flex
Bottom graphic is chipping off pretty quickly
i should've put 1/8th shock pads on, but its not bad to ride over rough surfacesSimilar decks you have ridden?: G&S 44 pin
