Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

This board does cost some money, but it is well worth it. If you are a surfer or snowboarder looking for a board for cross training purposes, this is it. There are a few things to remember before you buy one, you must have some decent hills, length and pitch. There is nothing out on the market that will out carve this board. You can carve this thing as hard as you can and it will hold. On wet surfaces, it will slide out in a second. Sidewalks and other tight width areas will not work for this board. This board has a tight turning radius, but due to its size needs a one lane road to fully push its potential. I love the board and have noticed my surfing go through the roof because of it. The ability to regulate the tire pressure is great because you can constantly adjust to the terrain. Caution, this is not a board for bombing hills. The board is well worth the money.

I personally own a Carveboard and am suprised that no one has posted on it before me. The Carveboard is a carving machine, with unlimated grip on the pavement.I personally am very fond of my Carveboard and i think it is worth the money, but here are a few things to consider: You need hills, this is not a flatland board! Price($) Weight, this thing is a heavyweight but its managble because its still carriable and you can roll it along Otherwise, if you are looking for a surf crosstrainer or an extreme carver this board is a monster, it also the safest thing ive ridden, you feel like your floating on air, the widness of the board gives you plenty of foot space, so no foot-bite. I only have one problem with this board, it almost carves too much, but you can always tighten the bolts. Time to find my tire are pump.... But seriously, this board is the absolute best thing if you have nice hills and just wanna carve sum sick lines. You hva eno idea how fast this thing turns and how much it grips. The Carveboard RIPS
