Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Over 200 miles of Downhill....What is your setup like?: I haveTypical Session Discipline: I go fast, If its paved , ill ride it.Where did you purchase it?: Chicagolongboards.comWhat were the strengths of the deck.: LIGHTWIEGHT , Highly functional shape/ size. VERY stable at speeds over 70mph... and at the same time, Nimble in the corners. Until now id have two DH boards set up a Technical cornering board and the balls to the wall speed board... This is the best of both worlds. What were the weaknesses?: As with any deck made out of this contruction, There is not much wood too it, Two plies of maple and thats it. With a board crafted from low wieght/High strength composites this is a trade off. You do give up some durability in the deck, as far as impacts would go. but your not gonna have any board take impacts and be unphazed and at the same time, you wont find a lightwieght composite deck that withstands impacts....Would you recommend it?:
Yes

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: A few weeksWhat is your setup like?: Crails, lime zigzags, and biltins. No risers.Typical Session Discipline: DownhillWhere did you purchase it?: From www.chicagolongboards.comWhat were the strengths of the deck.: Stiff, solid, responsive. Holds my 205 lbs extremely well even though it's incredibly light. Agile for a DH board because it is topmount. Rides like a dream, absorbs road vibes while still maintaining torsional rigidity. Concave is perfect, especially for larger feet. Thick stringer allows more wheel clearance. What were the weaknesses?: Could break if it hits a curb at high speeds. Thankfully, Julian at CLB ships the board with bumpers so this is not much of an issue.Similar decks you have ridden?: Rayne AvengerWould you recommend it?:
Yes
