Newsflash

Ian Tilmann died after crashing out on a fun longboard run in Florida. Ian wasn't wearing a lid and never regained consciousness.  We lost a brother.

Loki is a smaller version of the PAGAN, which was a collaboration with Justin Dubois. From the steep mountain passes of Colorado, Justin has been shredding on his PAGAN, and decided he wanted something a little smaller. We're now working together to combine Justin's idea of this smaller shape with Comet's patented construction and deep front pocket directional molding. We make this board as stiff as can be.

great board! buy it and not be disapointed, great for freeriding and pretty stable for doing dh
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 4-5 months
What is your setup like?: cruise & slide, 80a orange 4 pres, 81a and 83a venom supercarves,50 degree randals, abec 11 biltins
Typical Session Discipline: freeride,dh
How much did you pay?: 175
Where did you purchase it?: motionboardshop in seatle
What were the strengths of the deck.: cutouts-great cutouts can fit pretty large wheels if wanted to do dh or slide without the worry about wheel bite
rocker-comet rocker is the best rocker on a board i have ever felt in my life.locks ur feet in pretty well.
concave-not that much concave so its pretty comforable and doesnt cramp ur feet when riding. this concave is great for tucking.
shape- it has tapering good for tucking.

What were the weaknesses?: not a very durable board if u flip the board the rail will crack or chip. but its mainly becuae of the rocker. but besides that its the best board i have ever ridden.
Similar decks you have ridden?: sayshun polar, comet pegan
Would you recommend it?: Yes

it's so amazing, i ride it all the time. it's my go-to-beer. its how i got to work, what i cruise on, its what i slide on, its what i bomb on. perfect with the 70mm's, great all-around board. love it with the randals, my friend's got one with paris and durians, it becomes a whole new, amazing board. totally worth everything. my greatest investment! AAWWWWW, YEEEEAH!!
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about two years, now?
What is your setup like?: i got it with the
42* randals
70mm 4Pres
and the never-dying independent 7's bearings

Typical Session Discipline: slides, bombs, and commute
How much did you pay?: $210 complete with the above setup
Where did you purchase it?: Woody's Halfpipe 4life
What were the strengths of the deck.: it's taken a serious beating, has been smacked by quite a few car tires, ground curbs, hit several walls, and still no more than a couple chunks out of the nose...or did you mean the board? oh, no, the board's good.
What were the weaknesses?: It's a little short for my taste, otherwise, no problems at all. i didn't much care for the loki graphic..but, i drew over it, took his eyes out, put blood on his tongue, covered it in concrete wave stickers, wrote latin quotes on the side, looks straight. Seriously, no problems.
Similar decks you have ridden?: the FSM, but this one's more sick, i think. plus it lasts longer, assuming you're going nuts on the thing.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about a month
What is your setup like?: Randall 42*, powerballz or coned otangs for freeride, and inheats for dh
Typical Session Discipline: DH, freeride
How much did you pay?: I traded it
Where did you purchase it?: I traded it, but I would have purchased it at Motion Boardshop :D
What were the strengths of the deck.: Super stable and really comfortable. I can dh on the same truck tightness as I would freeride on. Its really nice because the rocker and concave dont hurt your feet. Its also low, so pushing it isnt half bad
What were the weaknesses?: All comet boards have a slight delamming problem but I havent experienced that, you can just epoxy it up anyways. Other than that there arent really any I can think of.
Similar decks you have ridden?: I really havent ridden a board this awesome
Would you recommend it?: Yes

this thing fucking rips. slides, bombs, push, cruise, does it all. it's my go to board. i can slide it and toss it around like my old freeride boards while still being able to bomb without fiddling with it or worry about breaking it (i broke quite a few lighter slopestyle decks) and with the dropthrough mounting and short wheelbase i can get the agility and control of my bigger topmount speedboards without the pain of pushing their height. it's a painless compromise. but i feel guilty for not riding my other boards much anymore...
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: mine- two weeks. my friend's- since christmasish
What is your setup like?: paris 180's. wheels. (race forms, flywheels, durians, inheats, retro freerides, slide-a's, ss'all good)
Typical Session Discipline: dh, freeride
How much did you pay?: 140 for the deck.
Where did you purchase it?: woody's halfpipe!!!!
What were the strengths of the deck.: strong, nimble, light. love the rocker and the pockets. just enough nose for shovit tricks.
What were the weaknesses?: not enough nose for bluntslides?
Similar decks you have ridden?: fsm, pagan, dropspeed-ish, 08 hellcat
Would you recommend it?: Yes
