I finally received my board after ordering directly off the Comet site (the WORST customer service ever-no tracking info, board shipped late, horrible communication, wrong size t-shirt). I'll chalk it up to the fact the Comet Hood Games were going on at the same time. The shipping was free however and the company espouses progressive ideas that I'm down with so... Fortunately the customer service and the product are nothing alike! The complete setup worked great right out of the box. It has Randal R2-180s with Comet wedge risers and Comet 68mm/78 wheels. I weigh 180 and this board has perfect flex for me. I tend to favor quite a bit of flex for pumping and carving around the 'hood. The edges of the board are not rounded and this seemed strange at first but has no effect on ride. I suspect it has to do with the board's composite (see their website) construction. The Comet wheels are smooth and fast with great grip. During some tight carves when I could break the back wheels loose, they did so in a progressive, predictable fashion. I was able to pull a U-turn with no wheel bite on my narrow side street in front of my house. Overall lively feel, mellow pinstripe graphics, and good hardware. I�m stoked.
