if your looking for the best top-mount board for dh and easy to slide with then i highly recommend this board. Also the shape looks bad ass when it is cut down a couple inches.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about a month now
What is your setup like?: randal 180s
orange 4prez
red and purple venoms
biltins

Typical Session Discipline: sliding and dh
How much did you pay?: 40$
Where did you purchase it?: from a generous friend
What were the strengths of the deck.: the deck itself was extremely stable. never got wobbles on it or even close to getting it. Mine was cut down to 36in so its just amazing. i recommend cutting it down to 34-36in you you get one, it makes it much easier to kick around and it still is stable at high speeds. or just buy the voodoo doll but I personally don't like the nose design in it.
What were the weaknesses?: the only* weakness I found was that it de-lams a like too easy. so make sure to keep it out of the water and you will be fine.
Similar decks you have ridden?: cut bombhills, s9 race
Would you recommend it?: Yes

If you're looking for a solid downhill topmount board, choose this board. Great construction, the shape is optimal for DH, and this thing is stable as a rock when you're going fast.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: Around 2 months
What is your setup like?: My setup was Paris 180's with venom bushings, Bones Reds, and Abec 11 Gumballs
Typical Session Discipline: Speedboarding, carving
How much did you pay?: 80 for the deck, blemished
Where did you purchase it?: Directly from the dudes at Comet
What were the strengths of the deck.: Big and strong. Great rocker and concave. This thing feels solid at speed, locks your feet in pretty nicely. I had the XL model, which is slightly larger, so you have increased width and length. A great downhill topmount. I have exceeded 40 mph easy and never once have worried about instability.
What were the weaknesses?: A little heavy and sluggish compared to carving boards.
Similar decks you have ridden?: None really
Would you recommend it?: Yes
Was this review helpful to you? yes     no
