This is by far my all-around favorite board I have ever ridden. I've tried other boards over the years and I've kept on coming back to this one. Encompasses at least two boards in any quiver. Get it, you will LOVE it.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 3 years
What is your setup like?: I've got 180 seismics with the yellow springs
Abec11 70mm 70's Flashbacks 81a
Bones Super Swiss 6 bearings

Typical Session Discipline: Carve, cruise, pedestrian slalom, skate to class, sliding, light downhill
How much did you pay?: $200 with all said and done
Where did you purchase it?: gandsskateshop.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: Fantastic board that's incredibly versatile. I can maneuver through the huge crowds of people going from class to class with ease. It's extremely light. The flex allows me to push my weight into carving and get a solid rebound, however different foot and truck placement can reduce the flex to a minimum thereby creating a very technical deck. The seismic trucks enhance the flex of the board so that I can actually accelerate using only my hips from a single push on flat ground. With different trucks, I used 150 and 180 Randall IIs, this board can hold it's own going 35-40 mph (haven't gone any past 40 mph so I can't vouch for that). Because it's a flat board with no concave people say that it's hard to slide on but I learned how to slide on it and saw no big deal, though the more technical slides are more difficult. I've also heard people complain about wood decks sagging where they push them the most but after three years of continuous riding there are no signs of that at all.
What were the weaknesses?: It took a few months of wearing in before the flex became fully pronounced. For those used to riding concave it will take a week or two to get used to a flat board.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Loaded Vanguard.
