Deck Materials: Virtually unbreakable plastic based on the carbon atom
Wow. This board has so much history we don't know where to start. It's not flexdex® composite material. It's made from a virtually unbreakable plastic based on the carbon atom. It's perfectly clear and it's only 12mm thick. You'll find the ride is smooth and seductive... and FUN. This material seems to soak up the road vibrations more than the regular flexdex® material. It's really quiet. Plus - you can see the road go by underneath! The first model based on this material was for Ebone's son, Jordo, who wanted a surfboard shaped see-thru deck. Since Ebone's main business was a plastics manufacturing business, they started cutting lots of decks from different materials until they found a material that stood up under a 13 yr old's punishment. Jordo put little strips of clear grip like flames all over the board and took it to his surfing contests. Needless to say it was a hit. It was so popular that it got stolen within a couple of days! The clear decks had many variations. One of our best riders set up a deck with risers and 70mm's for drainage ditches. And we noticed that the girlfriends really liked the board. So the clear decks evolved into the "Wahine" board. Same deck, but we changed the wheels and trucks to be more responsive to women riders. We listened to their input and sold the boards with small pieces of grip tape cut in floral shapes for them to apply themselves. This re-issue of the Classic 29 is for all ages and sex orientations. Smooth and silky ride using 62mm Kryptonics wheels will put a big smile on your face every time you ride it! Every quiver needs a clear flexdex®.

I had this board for little over a year and i was riding around on campus on night. in mid-push it snapped clean in half. i was the saddest boarder in California at that moment.. the times i have had with it were great though you can take it anywhere. i took it to school every day and at night i would hit the hills or the parking garage with it. very versatile, i recommend it to anyone who wants a fun board that looks super cool.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 13months
What is your setup like?: Tracker Darts, medium doh-doh's(yellow),cadillac wheels 65mm,toy abec7 then bones reds
Typical Session Discipline: commuter, garages, downhill, carving, even a park once
How much did you pay?: $187
Where did you purchase it?: TheLongboardShop.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: strong as hell. Super agile it like I could dodge bullets on that thing. turns heads cause its clear. still pretty stable at higher speeds.
What were the weaknesses?: it broke on me, just about a year after i had gotten it. super squirly at first, but perfect for learning, because if you can ride this board well you should have many problems with most of the other boards out there.
Similar decks you have ridden?: nothing like it.. except other flexdex boards but this is the only one i have ridden in the product line
Would you recommend it?: Yes
