Designed for riders who are as critcial on their equipment as they are on themselves, the all new Ride Tech (RT) collection is introduced. Like every other board in the RT collection, the RT Slalom 30v has been designed to create the most high end, performance focused ride possible.
Utilizing the same all new Flexdex BLACK material deck, the RT Slalom 30v has the same flex pattern as the standard Slalom 30v, meaning it’s still the lightest, fastest, flexiest and most responsive ever born from the Flexdex labratories, but ups the ante with its anrsenal of top of the line Ride Tech hardware. Geared up with the stuff dreams are made of, the RT Slalom 30v is among the best of the best. The board carries top of the line 70mm/78a ABEC 11 Grippin wheels, Abec 7 Biltin bearings and the Tracker RTS/RTX truck carving system. In addition, the board employs the ground breaking Flexdex Vent System, allowing for maximum board flex and giving riders the highest possible turning and maneuverability of any skateboard. If your serious about your ride, the RT Slalom 30v gets it done, and well. Uncle Ebone says "We used to make a Slalom GT with bigger wheels. Boring. This new Flexdex Ride Technology upgrades our Slalom30v to a faster, smoother, tight-turning perfection machine. You can pump and carve this baby uphill!" The standard Slalom 30v ride on steroids, the RT Slalom 30v incorporates the Flexdex Vent System with the Ride Tech hardware system to make this classicly-shaped slalom deck even more powerful and aggressive. Hailed the best carving board ever made, the RT Slalom 30v was designed to unleash the most energy through turns as possible.
Acting as mediators between rider and street the ABEC 11 Grippin wheels hold like suction cups to the road. With their hard-edged hourglass shape plus inner and outer flexible lips the Grippins are very fast, smooth, high traction wheels which provide controlled and comfortable slides. The extremely wide contact patch present on the Grippins make them the perfect wheel for the carving, hard turning and slalom riding that the board was designed to do.
Keeping the board riding like butter are the unrivaled Abec 7 Biltin bearings, the first precision bearing designed for skateboarding that incorporates an integrated spacer and washer. The perfectly faced inner races provides precise spacing and perfect alignment so that the locknuts can be snuggly tightened without pinching or binding the bearings. The bearings work together to more evenly share the sideloads and keep your wheels flat on the ground for better wear. This patented system is guaranteed to give you the fastest and strongest bearings on the planet. Tested by the world's fastest skateboarders in the most demanding conditions, Biltins provide unparalleled performance in all conditions. They are also the easiest bearings to use, making those nasty little washers and annoying spacers a thing of the past. Designed to be easier to maintain than other bearings, Biltins are simply the best and fastest skateboard bearings on the market today.
Finally, tying the Ride Tech system together are the Tracker RT-S/RT-X trucks. A combination of two different trucks, the RT-S and the RT-X, the system merges the stability of speed designs with the manuverability of slalom designs.
The Tracker RT-S model is stable and quick and has the stability of a full contact pivot point. It was designed to be used as a rear "traction" truck, one that provides greater stability and increased rider control. Using Tracker's exclusive hourglass bottom cushions, a taller top cushion and a slightly longer kingpin for more precise adjustments.
The Tracker RT-X model truck is quick and loose, has a high roll center and a straight point pivot for a more "tippy" turn. Designed to be used as a front steering truck, one that gets the rider into and out of a turn quickly and predictably. Also assembled using Tracker's exclusive hourglass bottom cushion, taller top cushion and a slightly longer kingpin for exact fine tuning.
In the end, will all this rad “Ride Tech” hardware make you a better skater? YES and that’s what matters. Get technical.

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Several weeks nowWhat is your setup like?: First it was Seismics w Otang 4 prez, then (after ruining threads on Seismic kingpins trying to change springs w/out reading labor intensive
"easy" directions) indie 150, indie 10' =crap. Old G.W. sidewinders, fair ( until rotting pivit cup gave out). Awaiting adhesive to dry on Khiro 2' kingpin switched on indies to accommodate venom bushings. Mucho
wheel/shoe bite/ pain and suffering w larger wheels tried zig zag 66's and got kingpin bite (ouch!) so until my seismic replacement parts come in, no more flexdex.Typical Session Discipline: Garages/ transpoHow much did you pay?: see previous reviewWhere did you purchase it?: etcWhat were the strengths of the deck.: with right set up, transpo, some pumping, but a bit soggy. Don't need much of an incline and you feel like you're on a friggin way bigger hill.
Water proof. What were the weaknesses?: A bit soggy at times, can be frustrating with wrong set up (see above)Similar decks you have ridden?: Gravity mini's, Howell fiberglass. various cambersWould you recommend it?:
Undecided
