Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 1 monthWhat is your setup like?: Randal R-II 42*
Blast wave 78a OR Bigzig 77a (pink)Typical Session Discipline: Cruising, carving, dhHow much did you pay?: $165Where did you purchase it?: Mile High SkatesWhat were the strengths of the deck.: Very stable yet at the same time very nimble. It turns just about as well as my dervish (R-II 50*). It's really fun to ride, as you can just bomb a hill with not a hint of wobble, or you can hard carve the entire way.
The wide platform and the nice concave is very comfortable. This feels good, but also gives you amazing amounts of leverage, which makes turning a breeze.
The conc
Very stiff, but not a bumpy stiff. It is rock hard stiff, but it still rides very smoothly. What were the weaknesses?: HEAVY. The deck itself must weigh twice as much as my Dervish (sans hardware)It is also twice as thick.
Not a good commuter board, as it just tires you out due to the weight.
Wide? This depends on your setup, if you have thin wheels or some without a good lip, it can sometimes tip over if you turn too much. This doesn't happen with Bigzigs, though.Similar decks you have ridden?: Landy DHR
Dervish
Sector Nine speed board (forgot the name)Would you recommend it?:
Yes

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: about a month nowWhat is your setup like?: Black Bear Grizzlies, Earthwing Superballs (76mm, 82a [for downhill]), Gravity Super Sliders (72mm, 90a [for sliding]), Custom bushings by a friend (some khiros soft and medium), IDS Oust MOC 7 Speed BearingsTypical Session Discipline: Downhill, Sliding, Cruising, CarvingHow much did you pay?: around $270Where did you purchase it?: FullbagSkates.comWhat were the strengths of the deck.: especially with this setup this board is the smoothest ride someone could ever ask for. board has great agility and no matter what your stance, you can be comfortable. It downhills like no other. I have never had a problem with speed wabble. looks sick and is very aerodynamic! The concave completely locks your feet in! The SpeedCarver can do practically anything you want it to!!!! Amazing Board!!!What were the weaknesses?: the paint on the bottom chips really easily and the paint ges water spots that are really hard to get off. This boards only weaknesses are in its paint. But neither of these are are a problem really at all. barely ever even bothers me!Would you recommend it?:
Yes

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: Months oF Hardcore RidingWhat is your setup like?: Bear Grizzlies 840. JimZ Speed Bushings. Earthwing Superballs 76mm/82a. RocknRon Ballistech Missile Bearings.Typical Session Discipline: DownhillHow much did you pay?: Somewhere between $230-240Where did you purchase it?: MileHighSkates.comWhat were the strengths of the deck.: This board is extremely well crafted. The craftsmanship is beyond expectations. Its platform is very comfortable and its concave locks you in tight. It is stable, yet it turns when you want it to. The wheels grip like no tomorrow. I am able to stick tight turns at 35-40mph. No joke. Oh, and the bearings fly. The Fullbag Speed Carver is an excellent choice to fulfill that downhill crave. What were the weaknesses?: You won't be able to get rid of this setup. No matter how hard you try to ignore it, you will end up liking it even more.Would you recommend it?:
Yes
