If you are thinking about buying this board... DO IT! Beginner or Expert rider, It's an easy board to learn the basics of sliding and stuff, and its also fun for the more experienced guys.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 1 year
What is your setup like?: 46" m1, Black Randall 180's, Flashbacks, Custom Grip Tape Job.
Typical Session Discipline: You can to pretty much anything with this board, it's kind of hard to lay down on it though.
How much did you pay?: $143 + $15 shipping, but it came with a T-Shirt.
Where did you purchase it?: www.krackedskulls.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: love the flex, can turn so sharp, awesome sliding.
What were the weaknesses?: because I have a 46" and the deck is lowered, Sometimes when I hit a bump, the bottom hits the ground.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Nothing compares... :)
Would you recommend it?: Yes

I bought this board as a transition from cruising to freeriding and more aggresive skating. I got it instead of the Dervish because you will put alot of abuse into your first board when learning slides and what not, and the board is built like a tank and inexpensive. I am moving up to a Dervish now because of the flex differences as well as I need harder wheels, but that does not mean that the M1 is not an excellent board. I would recommend it to anyone learning to slide and freeride or downhill, its great at high speeds, moreso than softer flexes. Additionally, anyone with a tight budget, for what this board can do its by far the best bang for your buck. Plenty of room for dancing, great at just about everything, just wish it had more flex.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About a year
What is your setup like?: 46 inch M1,randall 180s, 78a 70mm Abec 70s Flashbacks, Abec 11 bearings (whichever was the default on the KS site), custom black griptape
Typical Session Discipline: Freeriding, lots of slides gloved and standup, some downhill
How much did you pay?: around 160
Where did you purchase it?: www.krackedskulls,com
What were the strengths of the deck.: Very durable, though the nose and tail have worn down alot, but due to my learning curve when I got the board and hitting alot of curbs as well as me kicking the board uphills and walking behind it, very stable, lowered deck makes slides easy and controlled
What were the weaknesses?: Not alot of flex so you won't get the soulful vibe as compared to a Loaded Dervish or a composite series board, pretty plain board, the wood cracks alot as it breaks in, DOES NOT manual or nose manual well at all making shuvits and powerslide shuvits difficullt
Similar decks you have ridden?: None, the only other board I had was the Sector 9 Cosmic Series.

This deck is definitely worth the cheap price you pay. the scimitar has more room for larger wheels than the M1 but they are pretty much the same board. you can order this board in tons of different length and william has a bunch of setup options to make this board your own. when i got mine, i stained it a deep green and then varnished it to make it shiny and water proof. this board is a dream, for commuting it really returns the energy you put in it and is amazing at carving. i haven't taken it to really high speeds, but from what i can tell its very stable. its like standing on solid ground.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: about a month
What is your setup like?: Kracked skull scimitar
randal II 180
Oust abec 7
lime big zigs

Typical Session Discipline: carving cruising
How much did you pay?: $170+$28 shipping
Where did you purchase it?: kracked skulls website
What were the strengths of the deck.: this deck is super flexy and has crazy carving and control. it has a beautiful design to it that locks your feet in and brings you within inches of the ground. Super low and great value. the deck is about 9.5 inches long and is very stable when standing on it, but carves so hard.
What were the weaknesses?: the board creaks really bad. the risers do not conform to the concave of the deck so when you first step on it theres loud cracking sounds from the risers adjusting. no real damage to the board though.
Similar decks you have ridden?: none

It's definitely not a horrible board, it's just not the greatest thing on wheels. The flex disappears quickly. But the huge selling points for this board are the fact it's aimed at beginners or cruisers, it's cheap as far as decks go, and the wood holds up nicely. But if you start to find yourself limited, it's no surprise. I'd recommend it for beginners or people who just cruise, but not for people who are more skilled or going into one discipline.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 3 months
What is your setup like?: KS Scimitar with RII's and Lime Big Zigs / Oust Moc 7 bearings
Typical Session Discipline: Cruising, Garage, Carving, Light sliding
How much did you pay?: $185?
Where did you purchase it?: Kracked Skulls website
What were the strengths of the deck.: +The flex, at first, is nice since it absorbs the cracks in the road.
+Good beginner board to sort of get an idea for what discipline might interest you
+ Cheap

What were the weaknesses?: - That same flex disappears quickly, and now when I ride it just sags and doesn't pop back. It also feels unstable and awkward to ride as those cracks, bumps and rocks make the board start to shake like a bridge would shake after being hit by a hurricane *I'm exaggerating a bit*
-The longer the board, the heavier it is. Unless you are really skilled it's hard to get into tricks if that's your deal.
-Although it holds up nicely, the board scrapes the ground easily and it's not pretty at all.

Similar decks you have ridden?: Dervish...and the Dervish was better.
Would you recommend it?: Undecided
