Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

While riding in a parking lot I was kicking it up the hill when a car pulled out and ran over it (yeah I am a dumb-ass) I ran up to the board and it was fine, no cracks just a little scraped on the bottom.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: A month
What is your setup like?: Gullwing Chargers, 75mm 72a Sector Nine wheels, Abec 3 bearings (Cheep stuff till my online order comes in)
Typical Session Discipline: Carving
How much did you pay?: 200$ish
Where did you purchase it?: Online/Zumies
What were the strengths of the deck.: Compared to friends boards (Some sector nine pintail topmount) it feels 100% more stable and still carves better. At first I had it top mounted and then changed it to the drop through mount, did not lose any turning at all, felt more stable and let me pump harder. Also I can still carve just as well while going fast.
What were the weaknesses?: The bord is thicker (9ply) has almost no flex or give
Similar decks you have ridden?: None
Would you recommend it?: Yes

After the 1st hour of riding I cracked it strait down the middle. But I phoned up Landyachtz and the and got a brand new deck. I wouldn't even bother buying it you would be better with a drop carve.

Good all around board, although flatland travel is a little lacking, still amazing though
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About 3 months
What is your setup like?: Battle Axe, 9" Gullwing Chargers, 66mm Retro Zig-Zags, Bone Swiss Labyrinth Bearings.
Typical Session Discipline: Downhill carving, flatland cruising, Downhill slaloming (Parking Garage Sessions)
How much did you pay?: 130$
Where did you purchase it?: The Sonoma Longboard Store
What were the strengths of the deck.: The concave deck makes for really good downhill carving, and the thickness supports you well when going down hills. It is supposed to be low to the ground, but i bought chargers instead of the regular bear trucks so i had to jack mine up, but pumping is still a dream.
What were the weaknesses?: Its a little cumbersome when you first get the deck but after you work the bushings in, and get used to the way the deck moves it carves fine.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Nothing else.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
