Deck Materials: Epoxy and Tri-axle fiberglass sandwich a Vertical Laminated Bamboo

With a lower center of gravity and a torsionally stiff design, the Dervishes are built to hold an edge and maximize energy return.

A drop-thru carver designed to work with most reverse kingpin geometry trucks and 70mm+ wheels. Has a small nose and tail for manual and shovit tricks.

Drop-thru designed to accomodate the Randall R-II, Paris, Holey, Bear, Gullwing Charger and Tracker Fastrack Trucks. They all work well on this board, but we recommend using at least a 180mm wide truck.

The Dervish is available in two flexes:

Flex 1: 170 lb / 77 Kg - 230 lbs / 104 Kg
Flex 2: 100 lb / 45 Kg - 180 lbs / 82 Kg

Keep in mind that a softer flex pattern will give you more control and tighter turns at a wide range of speeds, but tend to lose stability slightly at higher speeds. Stiffer flex means more energy potential and more stability at higher speeds, but will not be as forgiving and lively when cruising.

The board is designed for a centered, snowboard style stance. As you get comfortable at higher speeds learn to slide. It’s the safest way to slow down at high speeds and will increase your skills. Otherwise, feel free to ride the board however you please.

The deck in my quiver I always end up reaching for and never letting anyone borrow. A blast to ride for all disciplines. I love the Otangs...these have just the right give and will drift at will as well as stick. Mad props to Loaded.

Where did you purchase it?: Muir Skate (the best shop in SD)
What were the strengths of the deck.: Versatitlity. This deck does it all.

Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: almost a year
What is your setup like?: i got the flex 2 ,paris 150 trucks, gulwing bushings (they work great!), and purple o-tang in heats, abec 7 bearings with spacers of course
Typical Session Discipline: with this board i sk8ed all styles, slide, dance, cruz, jump trix, but i didnt get very good at them due to the fact that i tried to many nu things at once
How much did you pay?: ummm a bit over 300
Where did you purchase it?: east of maui in annapolis md
What were the strengths of the deck.: every thing was AMAZING smooth carves, good jump tricks, and easy pushing due to the drop thru trucks
What were the weaknesses?: umm i got the flex 2 so the deck would scratch up on the concrete, and the size was a bit too small for dancing
Similar decks you have ridden?: komodo
Would you recommend it?: Yes

I would recommend to someone who knows alot about how to maintain their board, because it really does require non-stop tweaking. However, once you get it all settled (I still haven't gotten mine settle after a month) you'll love it.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: A month or two
What is your setup like?: Randal 180 w/ khiro double barrle bushings
81a Abec 11 Gumballs
Bones Reds Bearings

Typical Session Discipline: Cruising, pumping, carving, sliding, downhill
How much did you pay?: Somewhere around $300
Where did you purchase it?: Sidewalk Surfer (a local place)
What were the strengths of the deck.: Great sliding ability, easy to pump, good stability when bombing hills, and amazing turning capability.
What were the weaknesses?: Grip wears down, trucks squeak and make cracking noises constantly, even after oiling pivot bushings, bearings are just aweful. Biggest weakness: constant maintenece.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Vanguard, and various drop-thru decks
Would you recommend it?: Undecided

Overall a great board, worth every penny. you can do almost anything on this board.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: A few weeks
What is your setup like?: Chargers, o-tangs, bone swiss, venom carve bushings
Typical Session Discipline: downhill, garage, sliding
How much did you pay?: 180 for the deck around 300 complete
Where did you purchase it?: Carve Longboard Shop Houston Tx
What were the strengths of the deck.: A well crafted deck with plenty of flex
What were the weaknesses?: You have to get used to how flexy it is, but once you do its beautiful.
And the 4 on stability is most likely due to my bushings.
But overall i love it

Similar decks you have ridden?: a 44 in G&S pintail
Would you recommend it?: Yes
