Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

I love this board and anybody who's ridden this board loves it. Very relaxing to ride and it just........ keeps....... going ............... (flat road won't stop it, you need uphill or really gnarly tarmac to do this). Carving is super smooth and tight considering length of board. Fast, but stable downhill, I have taken it up to 32mph so far with no obvious truck wobble. Something extra to try -lay on your back and luge downhill on it too -different, great fun and even faster than standing!! Will definitely be buying more boards from Lush in the future. Highly recommended.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: A few months
What is your setup like?: Holeys, Night Rider Abec 7s, Lush Magmas 70mm/78a.

**New 2007 deck is 55 inches, 100% Canadian Maple Ply and different graphics too**

Typical Session Discipline: Carving, cruising ................and Luge!
How much did you pay?: £135 ($240)
Where did you purchase it?: www.lushlongboards.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: Concave locks you in but is gentle enough to let you move around easily on the board. Flexible for great pumping, but very stable at speed too.
What were the weaknesses?: No wheel arches so board could bite depending on setup (risers). I have got marks on my deck from this, but haven't actually felt it while riding .......yet!
Similar decks you have ridden?: Never ridden longer than 46 inches -so no comparison.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
