Quantcast

Newsflash

The Bennett "lockerboard" was scootin' around the Crossroads show recently and Mr. Bennett called to say they're out on the market now in a limited run of hand-screened, numbered completes.  We're stoked to see the little, rockered deck out there!

They've got the hook-hole in the nose, wheelwells that match perfectly when you crank'em over to turn the way Bennetts do and 'gators on the 4.3's.   They're at TailTap.com.

For the price I paid and the setup I got, I'm really satisfied. I use it to go to work, to go to friends houses, or just to go to the corner store. If there's a hill, I go for a tight slalom/pumping and it's great! I ride my trucks fairly loose to allow tighter turns and better carving
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 1 month an a half
What is your setup like?: Nico tino board
Randals 180 trucks
Sector nine 78a race formulas wheels
landyatchz abec 7 bearings

Typical Session Discipline: Commuting, carving
How much did you pay?: 250$
Where did you purchase it?: Axis, laval, Quebec
What were the strengths of the deck.: Perfect flex for me.
Awesome appearance, the design is not the same as the picture on top of this page, mine is a blue skeleton, really nice!
The weight is exactly what I want, not too light so you can feel it, not too heavy to carry.
Very good lenght for commuting, goes fast and stable

What were the weaknesses?: The nose and the tail chip easy, but that doesn,t really matter.
There is no tail so you can hardly lift the nose to do tricks.
It's a bit long to do some pumping.
It's a bit long to manoever let's say on a boardwalk really crowded, it's hard to skip obstacles at the very last minute, but it's still possible, at least with your trucks fairly loose.

Would you recommend it?: Yes

Best hard carver out there. Cannot beat the shape - nice and wide and just the right length.
