Similar in construction to the Descent, the Heist is a 41" drop-thru flex deck that is preloaded with tons of camber and a little more concave than other flex decks. Very lively and responsive yet not overpowering, this is the elite in flex decks.

Also includes a 3 year warranty

poppy flex, In comparison to the dervish which is much more gradual.

with this deck you kind-of have to push through the concave to get it to flex. What this means is that when you first stand on it it may not feel very flexy at all, but go into a carve and get it to flex a little and it gets way more flexable. After the carve the deck seems to pop back into shape with more energy than a dervish. you could call it higher rebound I guess..

better for slow DH and freeride than dervish because of this IMO.

The truck mounts were too weak for me and during a casual skate through uni the bolts pulled through the bottom of the deck. I think theyve sorted this problem with the new ones by adding a plate to the bottom.

If your looking for something that can turn more than anything go for the descent with some 80- a 70mm wheels, its the better board for flat land and pumping.

Apart from breaking it was super fun

Way better and cheaper than the dervish. Never Summer made a great board!
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About two weeks
What is your setup like?: The 09 Heist with the new graphic
Paris 180
Orangatang 4Pres 83a (purple)

Typical Session Discipline: downhill, sliding, cruising, carving
How much did you pay?: 150 for deck and trucks
Where did you purchase it?: inertiaboardshop.com
What were the strengths of the deck.: The snappy flex springs you in and out of carves way better than a bamboo board would. It is surprisingly stable for how flexy it is. It slides well. And nose and tail guards plus a three year warranty.
What were the weaknesses?: Flex isnt that even through out the board. Very flexy in middle and not so much towards the trucks.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Loaded Dervish, Sector 9 maccas
Would you recommend it?: Yes

It suits my riding style, you can really carve hard on it and the whole package feels really solid
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 1 week
What is your setup like?: randals, stock bushings, DBS bearings, lime big zigs
Typical Session Discipline: hard carving, drifting, bit of footwork stuff
How much did you pay?: $125
Where did you purchase it?: Daddies
What were the strengths of the deck.: great snap to the flex, really thin construction, so it's light, the Ptex bumpers work, good concave and width locks you in.
What were the weaknesses?: you can still get wheelbite with a 75mm wheel. this needs to be resolved. I hate wheelbite
Similar decks you have ridden?: dervish first edition flex 2. the heist is definitely snappier flex. not just stiffer.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

If you're looking for a medium flex drop through this is it.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 2 Months
What is your setup like?: Currently running Paris 180 Trucks (stock bushings) with Purple Otang In Heats.
Typical Session Discipline: Parking Decks
How much did you pay?: $125 for just the Deck
Where did you purchase it?: Daddies
What were the strengths of the deck.: The deck is well built with almost the perfect amount of flex. I weigh 150lb and it only flexes when I need it to. Perfect for taking sharp turns at high speeds, but it can handle itself speeding down whatever hill you throw at it.
What were the weaknesses?: I haven't found one.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Rayne Hustler and Loaded Vanguard
Would you recommend it?: Yes
