Michael Stefaun's new Pro Deck from Pool Kings is bringing the bling!  Look at that thing!  Click it to visit the site.

Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

I impulsed this board while in Daddies board shop. (a fool and his money are soon parted). It got me back into long boarding after many years out. It represents my midlife crisis. I love it and I had to buy others so that I could this one away from the kids.

I bought this board on a whim just because it was long and pretty, the wheels are what sold me. it has just been an extremely reliable board for getting around on a hilly college campus and playing around on all those hills.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 3 Months
What is your setup like?: All NS factory parts except for bearings which have been replaced with speed demons' ABEC 5 because they match the color. 72mm AEND NS wheels have great durability and look sick as hell. 180mm trucks.
Typical Session Discipline: Downhill, campus, commuting
How much did you pay?: $200
Where did you purchase it?: BoardParadise Charlotte NC
What were the strengths of the deck.: Super strong board, PTEX front guards are a life saver protected my board from so many mishaps. Very Solid and stable at high speed. Super smooth ride. Awesome amounts of grip and great wheels love the "rim" design
What were the weaknesses?: A bit harder to carve then most boards out there, but with enough effort it works nicely. Wheel bite may be an issue for hard cornering or heavier riders ( I am 160 lbs)
Similar decks you have ridden?: Sector 9, Black label, random speedboards
Would you recommend it?: Yes
