I can't wait to see what else is cooking in the Pressure Drop Labs!
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: 8 months
What is your setup like?: Randal 150's with Jim Z bushings and any soft wheel. I use this board for my slide set up, practicing at 30 mph plus to scrub speed for racing real twisty tech corners.
Typical Session Discipline: Shuttle up, slide down, shuttle up, slide down, etc.
How much did you pay?: Sponsored by Pressure Drop, retails in our shop for $65
Where did you purchase it?: Sponsored by Pressure Drop
What were the strengths of the deck.: Sweet concave, lots of room, nice and stiff for the 30 to 40 mph range. I really like the formica too.
What were the weaknesses?: It could use another inch of tail to help when picking it up.
Similar decks you have ridden?: The Dregs 44" concave pintail is my usual board for ditches, but this board is stiffer and wider, it could even be used as a race board for someone that likes top mount. It's also similar to the Dregs Alpine, but it's lighter and has a bit more flex.
Would you recommend it?: Yes
