I've been really wanting to get into slalom for a while. I found a sweet deal on some nicely tailored Trackers so I figured what a better time to start than now? I've always loved the graphic and shape of the Libido so I went ahead and pulled the trigger.

This thing is a lot wider and bigger than I thought but no worries. I can almost pump this from a standstill. My back foot never slips. I can really really dig into it and I know it won't give. Right now I have it on the smallest wheelbase for some Hybrid Slalom. However, before this I had it on one of the middle-long setups and it carved and cruised really well. I took it to class and it worked great. I suggest this board as a kick butt slalomer but also as a sweet carver and campus cruiser.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: About a month.
What is your setup like?: Rayne Libido (new model, not the one pictured), Tracker RTS dewedged 19* which makes it about 15* dewedged w/ crazy hard bushings, RTX wedged 10* with Bones Hardcore white blue, Orangatang 4President 80A, Biltins. It's on the smallest wheel base currently (~21.5".) I also put a toestop in.
Typical Session Discipline: Mostly slalom but I've taken this to class.
How much did you pay?: $104
Where did you purchase it?: Muir Surf
What were the strengths of the deck.: Pumps like a muv, locks your back foot in due to the S-Camber, has a nice flex, adjustable wheelbases, and a kicktail if you want it.
What were the weaknesses?: Because of the S-Camber you have to dewedge the hell out of it and I had to redrill the holes a bit. If you're going to dewedge/wedge, be sure to have long enough screws when it comes so you can actually mount it up.
Similar decks you have ridden?: Sector 9 slalom board, Legendary Gnome, Arcane Mini, Ladera Purple Heart.
Would you recommend it?: Yes

It's not that I don't recommend it completely. If you do happen upon this deck (the older models by the way) and find it to be real cheap, by all means buy it if you really want. But I suggest sanding down those dangerous front corners, or else you'll be forced to add risers until the cows come home.
Longboard Review
How long have you ridden the board: Two months
What is your setup like?: Seismic 180mm swapping between ABEC11 grippins and Retro Big Zigs (Pink), hard and soft risers, greaseball bearings.
Typical Session Discipline: Carving, Commuting, Pedestrian slalom
How much did you pay?: $70
Where did you purchase it?: Swap Meet
What were the strengths of the deck.: Just enough flex in it to bounce back however much force you put into it. Responsive. Easy to read sweet spot located right behind front trucks.
What were the weaknesses?: The wheel cutouts are horribly off measurment (in the older models as far as I know), giving a enough bite to cut into most wheels and leave a mark.
Similar decks you have ridden?: None, this is my first "light" slalom board.
Would you recommend it?: No
