Ian Tilmann died after crashing out on a fun longboard run in Florida. Ian wasn't wearing a lid and never regained consciousness. We lost a brother.
The Ian Tilmann Foundation created the Helmet for a Promise program, where people are able to pledge to always wear a helmet and the foundation will provide one at no cost. Click the logo or the text. |

Longboard Review How long have you ridden the board: 2 monthsWhat is your setup like?: Paris 180s, 70mm Tunnel Tarantulas, Bones Reds BearingsTypical Session Discipline: Commuting and CarvingHow much did you pay?: $220 or soWhere did you purchase it?: MuirWhat were the strengths of the deck.: Amazingly fun to ride. Light and responsive with great flex. Perfect size and weight for riding around the city and it can handle everything you throw at it. I didn't think I could have this much fun on a board - makes me want to ride until my legs fall off. What were the weaknesses?: There are times when it feels like the board might snap when put under pressure, but I might be too big for it (170lbs). I hope it never snaps - it's my favorite board by far.Similar decks you have ridden?: Nothing close.Would you recommend it?:
Yes
