I've been buying from Longboard Haven since Patrick Switzer founded the company in the Fall 2006. Patrick is knowledgeable, full of stoke and makes the contacts necessary to find the skate gear you need. His prices are much lower than other stores because he runs the shop out of his house and so has minimal overhead costs.

If you are in Ontario and have not bought from Patrick, I recommend you give him a try. While the website is often not up to date, a quick email will get you the answers you need on all his current stock. If you are in the Greater Toronto Area, he is the go to guy for all your longboarding needs. I've spent over $2000 on longboarding equipment supplied from Longboard Haven and the customer service of Patrick has been a big reason for it.

What did you buy?: I bought a JimZ Pro Flushcut, bearings, lube, trucks, wheels, helmet. He's my one stop skate shop.
When did you buy it?: over the course of 6 months
How much did you spend?: over 300 in total likely.
Was the site easy to navigate if the purchase was online?: His site's layout is similar to Mile High's except there are a few extra categories to point you to where you are going, and not the onslaught of duplicate products.
Did the purchase go smoothly?: I have paid using credit card, paypal, and cash, all transactions were proccessed quickly and professionally.
Did you feel like they appreciated your business?: Whenever I ask Pat about anything, he always gives me an honest answer. He tests all the gear that he sells, and is informed on all of it. He has certainly gone out of his way to satisfy me as a customer, and has shown that he values my return business by doing so. He does regular orders based on demand in the local community for product, which for me, is very conveniant, because I always know what's coming in.
Would You recommend them in the future?: I would reccomend Longboard Haven's services to anyone.

I totally recommend getting gear from a guy who loves to skate, knows his stuff, and is a nice guy to boot! Hes also involved promoting local rides on an almost weekly basis. Thanks Pat.

I would not hesitate to send anyone to LBH. The service is backed with knowledge and experience. Pat has probably tried all the gear that he sells and can point out any strengths or shortcomings in equipment based on this experience. I've bought a lot of gear from Pat over the last 5-6 months and have never been disappointed in his recommendations. LBH will be missed when the shop moves out west. GOOD LUCK LBH!

Patrick runs an amazing store out of a small location. the amount of gear in stock is really good considering the space he has. if there is gear out of stock or you have something you can't find anywhere else he can usually get it in stock or suggest something else.
the speed is great when its in stock but can take a little longer if isn't but hes ontop of his orders and will ship it out as soon as he has it.
If you ask questions about when your orders coming he'll let you know, and if your a beginner he'll let you know everything you need to start and more.

Great store shop here!!
