If you want to surf asphalt, this is your truck.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: A few months
What Setup are you running them on?: 38" old school fish shaped board with C7 up front and C2 in the back. Had to put in 3/4" risers to avoid wheelbite because the front truck turns so hard. 76mm Abec 11 Gumballs.
Typical Discepline?: Carving hills, pumping flats, cruising
How much did you pay for them?: $57 for the C7
Where did you buy them?: Amazon.com
What are their weaknesses?: Clearly not stable enough to use for any serious downhill speeds, but then that is not what they are designed for. Considering the design, they are more stable than I expected.
What are their strengths?: Amazingly tight turning radius. Super loose front allows surf-style slashbacks. So easy to pump it seems like cheating.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: The only thing similar is the truck put out by Thruster USA, but the C7 is a much better truck.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

The first time I rode these trucks, I could feel the ocean breeze. Absolutely incredible. Brings back the stoke of surfing.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: all day today
What Setup are you running them on?: Carver green room c7 stock everything..
Typical Discepline?: carving, crusing
How much did you pay for them?: the whole board was $160 shipped
Where did you buy them?: gonbot.com
What are their weaknesses?: you can't stop riding them. The rest of your life will disappear
What are their strengths?: They turn like nothing else. If you have ever wanted to surf the pavement, get these trucks. You will not be disappointed. The c7/c2 combination works amazingly and you throw your turns off your back truck just like a surfboard. The most fun I've ever had on 4 wheels.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

Get 'em. They're more than worth what you'll pay for 'em.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: A few serious sessions
What Setup are you running them on?: I'm running them on a S9 Carbon Trylam with 70mm 78a Dano's Downhill and abec 7 bearings
Typical Discepline?: cruising, carving, a little downhill
How much did you pay for them?: 70
Where did you buy them?: Daddie's Boardshop
What are their weaknesses?: Initially, they're so different than anything you've ridden that you're not sure what to do with 'em. Ride 'em for more than an hour or two and that's gone
What are their strengths?: These turn harder than you can. They're increadibly agile, and go rail to rail really smooth. They're way more stable than you think they'd be. All in all, just a great set up.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Nothin really. Maybe a surfboard.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

I took my two decks to a surf shop and got some surfers(non-skaters and skaters)to try em and they were hooked...they all agreed that Carver has found the Ideal set up for that surfy feel!
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 30 Days
What Setup are you running them on?: Gravity LB33 with Carver C7 trucks, Bones swiss Bearings, and Bones Bombers...
and
Carver Fish Complete

Typical Discepline?: Surf Skating
How much did you pay for them?: 70.00
Where did you buy them?: Daddie's Board shop and Carver Direct!
What are their weaknesses?: ...they cost more but are worth it...
What are their strengths?: wow, how do you say that these trucks bring skating back to surfing...no speed wobbles found yet, Take a low stance and turn by winding your upper body then the board will follow.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: I have the Carver CX trucks and like them...but these are so amazing! Holey Trucks, Bennets, Randals, Revenges, Exkate
