Kahalani trucks were originally designed by Dan Åhlström (Kahalani boards), in 2001. The trucks are produced in Sweden with the goal to make a low, light, and stable precision truck that also had great turning ability. The truck was designed to master the most technical race courses and the highest speeds. In both 2002 and 2003, the truck was race-tested at the legendary Hot Heels World Championships in Kaunertal, Austria.

The Kahalani truck has been designed to suit every rider’s needs. Whether you are an experienced extreme downhill skateboarder, a city cruiser or just a beginner – the Kahalani truck should be your choice.

The “wear and tear parts” of the Kahalani trucks fit normal skateboard standards – meaning you will not have to look further than to your local skate shop for any spare parts you might need.

Save some money for these trucks, worth every penny and will save you from a lot of sketchy situations! (I recommend the 184's) With a dropped board ( I run the Landyachtz switch, you will need a fat riser if you have 75mm wheels, gives a topmount feeling with dropped stability)
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: A week or so
What Setup are you running them on?: Landyachtz Switch, Big Zigs and Red Venoms, and riser's
Typical Discepline?: Speed Cruising, Downhill
How much did you pay for them?: 284 dollars or 2200 kr
Where did you buy them?: The Kahalani shop in Stockholm
What are their weaknesses?: Get scratches if you cruise a lot but that doesn't affect performance.
What are their strengths?: Pretty much flawless, great turn but really stable. Probably the best all round truck out there!
What similar equipment have you ridden?: My first pair of CNC's. previous trucks: Bear Grizzly 852's

I absolutely love these trucks. I would not hesitate to throw down another 300.00 for the 184's for my next rig.

They are so low, that even with 3mm risers I could not make them fit on my Flexdex RT Pro 40 with 78mm wheels, I had to switch to 70mm wheels! But when I put them on my Landyachtz Drop Carve, no wheelbite, superlow!
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 2 days.
What Setup are you running them on?: Flexdex RT Pro 40 or Landyachtz Drop Carve, preferable to later. Seismic Blast Wave wheels.
Typical Discepline?: Cruising, carving, a little dh
How much did you pay for them?: About 300 dollars(2000kr SWE)
Where did you buy them?: Kahalani shop in Stockholm
What are their weaknesses?: They easily get scratches, and they are to beautiful for that, but who gives a shit they still ride.
What are their strengths?: You can if you wish go as fast as you like, the Kahalani brothers told med a brazilian guy who went for 130km/h on them, which seems fast enough to me. You can also use them as cruising trucks, or sliding, carving, whatever, multipurpouse!
What similar equipment have you ridden?: None.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

This truck has evolved my riding skills to the max. They are forgiving at the same time as the learn you to handle your board at high speeds.
Turny and "cruisy" if you want them to!

A Kick ass truck!
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: 12 months
What Setup are you running them on?: At the moment on a board very similar to the Kahalani Downhill board
Typical Discepline?: Downhill, daily comuting
How much did you pay for them?: 278 US Dollars
Where did you buy them?: At the store in Stockholm
What are their weaknesses?: Perhaps that they tend to get marks on them, but who gives!
What are their strengths?: Stable at the same time as being turny! Lightweight and easy to clean. Not to expensive compared to other dh"pro" trucks. Great feedback from the Kahalani boys themselves!
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Randal 180īs, JimZ 200mm hangers with pogo baseplates
Would you recommend them?: Yes
